Tijd: 10:00-11:00

11 January, 10:00-11:00

The United Kingdom is introducing the new Border Target Operating Model (BTOM) in 2024. This means additional customs regulations and controls when exporting goods to the UK. The system will be introduced in several phases. The first phase will start on 31 January 2024.

The NBCC invites you to a BTOM webinar on Thursday 11 January from 10:00-11:00 CET. This webinar is relevant for companies that export animal products, fish products, plants, plant products and/or animal food products to the UK.

During this session we will explain the upcoming phases of the Border Target Operating Model (BTOM) for 2024. On 31 January 2024, the health certificate for animal products, plants and medium-risk foodstuffs from the EU will apply. Identity checks and physical inspections will be added by 30 April 2024. Finally, by 31 October 2024, safety declarations will be required for EU imports, with a limited data set being introduced to simplify customs declarations.
