British customs rules for veterinary cargo tightened as of 1 October

www.getreadyforbrexit.eu -Due to Brexit, the British government is further tightening the customs rules for import into the United Kingdom. This will commence on the 1st of October 2021 with the introduction of mandatory health certificates for most veterinary cargo. If you are transporting such cargo, make sure you are ready! Otherwise, your cargo may come to a standstill in a British port.

In the Netherlands, the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) offers a step-by-step plan to help you to efficiently organise the required certificates. You can also directly ask the NVWA any questions you may have. Furthermore, the UK government offers various insightful webinars on the import of veterinary cargo into the UK.
